Stay Casino FAQ — Everything Australian Players Ask
These frequently asked questions are based on the most common topics raised in player reviews and support conversations about Stay Casino. Updated September 2026.
Licensing & Legality
Is Stay Casino licensed?
Yes. Stay Casino holds a Curaçao Antillephone N.V. gaming licence. This is one of the most common licences for offshore online casinos operating globally. While it is not as stringent as UK Gambling Commission or Malta Gaming Authority licences, it provides a legal framework under which the casino must operate.
Is Stay Casino legal for Australian players?
Australia does not licence offshore online casinos under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001, but playing at an overseas-licensed casino is not illegal for individual Australian players. Stay Casino actively supports Australian players with AUD currency and AU-specific marketing.
Registration & Verification
What documents are needed for KYC?
Stay Casino typically requests: a government-issued photo ID (passport, driver's licence), proof of address (utility bill or bank statement, dated within 3 months), and proof of payment method (card scan or bank statement). In some cases, source of funds documentation may be requested for larger withdrawals.
How long does account verification take?
Standard verification takes 24–72 hours. More complex cases — where additional documents are requested — can take up to 2 weeks. Our advice: complete KYC soon after registration, before you request your first withdrawal.
